About this event
The ARMS Spotlight: Fulbright Research Chair Series will open this Fall with a talk from Dr. Yudan Chen Wang on November 16, 2023!
Dr. Wang’s talk will discuss the methods and findings for the protective role of school connectedness against depressive symptoms and anxiety in adolescents from the influences of poverty and parenting stress. It investigates the complexity of family and school interaction, and the limitation of targeting school connectedness as an intervention point to counter the influences of negative experiences at the family level.
